Community

In FY26, RFM continued its commitment to community engagement through a range of initiatives spanning health and wellbeing, environmental stewardship and the cultivation of local relationships.

Health and wellbeing initiatives

RFM continued to support organisations delivering critical community and health services, including Meg's Children Nepal, an Australian charity supporting vulnerable and at-risk children's upbringing and education in Nepal; Hartley Lifecare, a Canberra-based organisation providing supported accommodation for people with disability, their families and carers; Movember, the annual event raising money and awareness for men's health; and Karinya House, the only service of its kind in the Canberra region providing shelter and support for women who are pregnant or parenting.

Environmental stewardship

RFM expanded its collaboration with WYLD Projects in FY26, as part of its broader approach to sustainable land management (see protecting land and water).

Community connections

RFM extended its support of grassroots sport and regional community activities in FY26, sponsoring the Bundaberg Brothers Bulldogs Australian Football League (AFL) club, the Dingo Campdraft in central Queensland, and the Hilston Hook, Line and Sinker Fishing Festival.
